As a Villa of the 17th century, Hotel Roma boasts of having been As a Villa of the 17th
century, Hotel Roma boasts of having been at the beginning of 1800, of Elisa Baciocchi, princess
of Lucca and Piombino, sister of Napoleon Bonaparte.		      
   

The hotel is located in the historical
centre of Bagni di Lucca, ancient
thermal town, easy access to all the
natural resources that Val di Lima
(Lima Valley) can offer
during the Spring and summer periods.

  The villa, now trasformed and arranged
to be an Hotel, fully
respectful of the then architecture,
takes the maximum of its
splendour late in Spring. 		   
  When the garden is full with flowering,
from the terraces of the hotel it is
possible, especially during
the evening hours, to contemplate
and meditate on what it is
now and what it was been...
  The garden, also operating as
car parking, boats a large quantity of
botanical species, of which most
of them are ultra-centenarian.

It was - and still is nowdays - the
inspiring site of many
art and literature exponent.
